5 Reasons to Join AJA’s Wine Club
As we continue to grow both tasty grapes in the vineyard and in production size, we wanted to share five reasons to join one of the AJA Vineyards Wine Clubs.
1. Shipments Timed for the Season
AJA has crafted a subscription that ships our wines to every participating state across the country. By curating a calendar of shipments, we make sure wines aren’t sent out in warmer months, so the freshest possible product reaches your doorstep. The three-shipment membership ships in January, April, and October, while the two-shipment option ships in April and October.
2. Two Membership Options
Our memberships, Alec’s Club and Jack’s Club, are named after the proprietor’s brothers, and each offers a different way to enjoy AJA. Alec’s Club, the practical club, includes nine bottles a year shipped in three installments of three, letting you explore the catalog and make informed decisions about your preferences over time. Jack’s Club, the value club, sends twelve bottles a year in two installments, keeping your fridge and wine rack full. Both memberships include special benefits reserved for club members.
3. Member Discounts
When you become a club member, every day is sale day at AJA Vineyards. Alec’s Club includes a 15% discount, while Jack’s offers 20% off all wines and select merchandise. Both memberships save you money and give you special access to limited-edition wines, plus six free tastings a year at the vineyard.
4. Special Events for Members
Members get invited to AJA’s special events and wine tastings on the Malibu Coast and beyond. Wine Club members also get discounted and more elevated experience options at these gatherings.
5. A Genuine Taste of Malibu
Most importantly, joining our wine club means getting delicious wine that showcases the natural elements found only in Malibu vineyards. Our Southern California climate and soil offer elemental flavors that connect the palate back to the earth through carefully crafted fermentation.
One of our favorite stories to share comes from a time our winemaker was working in South Africa, at a winery in Cape Agulhas. The assistant winemaker there happened to have lived on the Malibu Coast, and would visit the local tasting room every week to enjoy wines from home. After several years in South Africa, our winemaker brought him a bottle of our Syrah. He tasted it and said, “Wow. This tastes like home.” That’s the story we like to share when people ask what makes the Malibu terroir special: if it can be tasted and recognized around the world, it’s something truly unique.
We value all of our members and welcome you to the AJA family. Cheers!
